These terms and conditions apply to the messagedot.com website and the MessageDot product, provided by TimelinesAI LLC. To use the website and the product you must agree to all of the statements below. Please read this agreement carefully before you access or use MessageDot. If you do not agree, you may not access or use the website or the product.

1. About the service

MessageDot enables you to connect your HubSpot account and use a Chrome extension on WhatsApp Web to find or create HubSpot contacts, manage deals, and log notes, tasks, calls and meetings.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, have legal authority to bind your company or organization to these Terms, and use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws, including the GDPR, the WhatsApp terms and HubSpot's terms.

3. Account registration and security

  • You must provide accurate and complete information.
  • You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.
  • You must tell us immediately about any unauthorized use of your account.
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to send unsolicited or spam messages; violate WhatsApp's terms or HubSpot's terms of use; transmit illegal, harmful, defamatory or offensive content; bypass security measures or disrupt the Service; or misuse customer personal data in violation of the GDPR or other privacy laws.

5. Data and privacy

  • Our handling of your data is governed by our Privacy Policy.
  • You retain ownership of all data and content you process through the Service.
  • You grant us a limited license to process and transmit your data solely to provide the Service.
  • You are responsible for ensuring that you have the legal right to process and share your customers' personal data.

6. Integration with HubSpot and WhatsApp

The Service requires an active HubSpot account and access to WhatsApp Web. We are not responsible for downtime, changes or limitations imposed by HubSpot or WhatsApp. You must comply with the terms of service of these third-party platforms.

7. Fees and payment

MessageDot is a paid subscription billed per seat, as shown on the Pricing page. Fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable unless stated otherwise. We may change our fees with at least 30 days' notice.

8. Service availability and modifications

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time, with reasonable notice when possible.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms or our Privacy Policy, violate applicable laws or third-party platform rules, or engage in abusive, fraudulent or harmful activity. On termination your access will be revoked and your data deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages or losses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
